"etymology_text": "Internationalism, borrowed from Latin Tītān (“Titan”), from Ancient Greek Τῑτᾱ́ν (Tītā́n, “Titan”), the name of one of the Titans in Greek mythology. The deeper origin of the Ancient Greek name is uncertain; proposed explanations have connected it with τίτο (títo, “sun, day”), τιταίνω (titaínō, “to stretch, extend”) or τίσις (tísis, “retribution”).\nThe moon was discovered by Christiaan Huygens in 1655. Its present name was proposed by John Herschel in 1847 as part of his naming scheme for Saturn's moons; Herschel chose Titan for Huygens's moon because of its exceptional size.\nCompare the parallel adaptations Danish Titan, Swedish Titan, German Titan, Dutch Titan, Finnish Titan and English Titan.",

"etymology_text": "Internationalism, borrowed from Latin Tītān (“Titan”), from Ancient Greek Τῑτᾱ́ν (Tītā́n, “Titan”), the name of one of the Titans in Greek mythology. The deeper origin of the Ancient Greek name is uncertain; proposed explanations have connected it with τίτο (títo, “sun, day”), τιταίνω (titaínō, “to stretch, extend”) or τίσις (tísis, “retribution”).\nThe moon was discovered by Christiaan Huygens in 1655. Its present name was proposed by John Herschel in 1847 as part of his naming scheme for Saturn's moons; Herschel chose Titan for Huygens's moon because of its exceptional size.\nCompare the parallel adaptations Danish Titan, Swedish Titan, German Titan, Dutch Titan, Finnish Titan and English Titan.",
